ADP Testing can avoid deferral refunds

Key Points:

  1. Your Plan is subject to annual deferral percentage testing (ADP).


  2. Each year we offer the opportunity to pre-test the plan to help you make the best choices for passing this test. This test is optional – if you passed last year you can decline to test.


  3. In addition, if testing shows a significant need for either an Employer contribution or refunds to HCE's, this is the perfect time to consider amending your plan to a Safe Harbor for year 2010.


  4. Our fee for this service is a flat $300 plus $1per employee in excess of 50 employees, billed on your December quarterly invoice.
